If there’s one thing all gamers love, it’s in-game events! Snake.io holds monthly Live Events centered around fresh themes— from seasonal celebrations to pop culture-inspired crossovers— where players can get event-exclusive snakes to play in the arena.
Before you can get these, however, you have to actually play the Live Event. Read this guide to know how.
1. Download the game.
To play Live Events in Snake.io, you have to download the game first. Snake.io is a hypercasual game designed to be played with any device on hand, and is available on many different platforms. The game can be downloaded on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Apple Arcade, Amazon, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
2. Take note of Live Event details
After opening the game, you’ll be taken into the Main Menu. Here, you’ll find a carousel of different events, challenges, and other features.
The Live Event’s carousel card contains useful information, including the start and end dates of the event, what snakes can be acquired, and the quests that need to be fulfilled during the event to acquire the snakes.
3. Play the Live Event
At last, your Snake has spawned into the arena. The arena floor and pellets are always customized according to the theme of the event. At the top, you can find the event’s quests. Focus your efforts on attaining these to get your hands on the event-exclusive snakes.
Take advantage of the Super Pellets scattered throughout the map that will grant invincibility and a speed boost for a short period. Once you become the biggest snake in the Arena, a Boss Snake will also show up occasionally to try to beat you. Find and stay in designated attack points to shoot fireballs towards the Boss Snake.
The game features instant restarts, so you can get back into the action quickly if your snake is defeated. Learning the basics of movement is also key. Snake.io uses easy swipe controls, so the learning curve is not very steep.
